NO ORDINARY LOVE

Today is one of my favorite days where everyone's hearts is focused on the power of love and our connection to one another. Love is the most powerful force in the universe and the reason why we exist. 

The playground of love with another is simply the training to connect to a higher love which is all encompassing and inclusive. If you are lucky in this lifetime, the ultimate destination of love is merging with the divine. The divine in you, the divine in all... Nothing in life is as beautiful as when your heart is filled with that pure magical energy. I am so grateful for all the love I always feel in my heart by the grace of God, my loving family, friends and beloved.

NO MORE MONKEY BUSINESS

The universe and the celestial energies are giving us all another chance at a reset for the upcoming year. UNFUCKWITHABLE

Cultivating this attribute is an important step on the spiritual path. For a long time I thought in order to be spiritual I had to be nice and kind to all who cross my path including the ones that violated my trust or boundaries. Sort of like turning the other cheek to be saint like. I learned the hard way that in actuality this type of Pollyannaish attitude will not only not win you friends, but when you don’t show your true self which is human and goes through many emotions, including anger, then the unconscious message that is being received by others is that you are not authentic. 

To be a noble person on the spiritual path, you must also have the courage to stand up for yourself and cut off ties with toxic people, situations and be at peace with that. There are a great deal of sociopaths and narcissists in this world and it is not your job to fix them unless you are a mental health professional/healer and you are being paid to do so. If they cross your path, it is to teach you to trust your intuition which more than likely went off like a wild alarm but you ignored it or to teach you courage to know your worth and stand up for yourself. That’s it. You have zero responsibility to people without conscience, integrity or morals. How liberating is that?

Your only responsibility in this life is to work on yourself every day to be better than yesterday. To be so great that through your shinning example other people become inspired to better themselves. When the wrong situations present themselves into your life whether it is in your relationships, friendships or work place, know that they are there to teach you to become stronger. The best way to protect yourself from toxic people and situations is to raise your frequency by doing the work on yourself so that your aura and shield is so strong and protected that these types of situation cannot enter your field and will either slide right off or just won’t stick. Your intuition and gut will reject it, contracts will fall apart and don’t go as planned or people will go on their merry way so be grateful. Just do you and be you and the right people and things will enter your life and stay.

"KEEP UP AND YOU'LL BE KEPT UP"

This time of the year we are all focused on our new year resolutions and goals we’ve set for ourselves to really make 2016 count. All of us want this year to be the year of much needed change personally and globally. And while goal setting is a great way to plant the seeds of our futures, it is important to remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day. Nothing great or worth having is done overnight. Sometimes it is as simple as just keeping up with life with baby steps and sticking to our routines whatever they may be. 

The important thing is to persist through daily challenges with neutrality and reminding yourself that you have all the strength and calm you need to get through life with grace. Whatever makes your soul shine, do that as often as you can and make time for it. It will help you be great in other areas of your life. I find that my yoga and meditation practice helps me keep a neutral mind and gives me the serenity to face whatever life throws at me. When I’m in a posture and my arms are shaking and I want to give up but I know if I stay I will reach that transcendent moment that I’m longing for, I push past my limited thinking of “I can’t” or “this is too hard”. Then I detach from my body and connect to my divine nature that wants to grow. So I keep up… I push past the pain to enjoy a momentary escape from the illusion of reality into my true nature and it becomes all worthwhile.

So just keep up… keep moving… keep being… keep shining. The rest will take care of itself. 

SOUL PATH

If you are not living each day with excitement, energy and passion, then you are not living on your soul’s path. So many of us walk through life, feeling numb and desperate for a deeper connection, but aren't sure how to get it. As the saying goes “the two greatest days of your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out what your purpose is”, but if you don't know your purpose then it can be hard to find true happiness.

Soul paths are our prime purpose for being alive through finding the talent within that only we can offer to the world. It always involves going beyond ourselves and helping others in some way with our gifts. Each one of us was born with a divine calling that we offer to the world that is unique to us and until we connect to that life is not as meaningful.

To find your soul path drop from your head to your heart. Ask yourself what you really love and what is most important to you in life. Start by taking small steps towards that every day. Start where you are and give the time that you can even if it is an hour a week. It doesn’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to know everything and you will grow into your passion and become an expert at it with time. By doing what you love, you will be inspired and gain insights into what brings you the most joy. When you lead from your heart, you will be led on the path.
