MAYBE JUST PURRRR

Full moons in Leo generally are felt and expressed dramatically with a tendency towards self expession, aggression, ego and tonight's moon is likely to be fiery as well. Should any situation arise that ruffle your mane during this time maybe just take a step back, breathe, count to ten and remember that often it is better to be kind than right. While it is important to stand up for yourself, in these next couple of days your ego and higher self are in full conflict and you are simply being tested to grow out of your patterns. With Mercury in Retrograde which has us reassessing our communication with others, this is one of those times that you just need to put tape on your mouth, not reply and maybe just purr. When the moon wanes and steps into more balanced Libra then you can go look back logically, without the inferno of emotions, see if you still want to express yourself with the same heat. 

However, do use this time with Mercury to clear out and assess old thoughts and beliefs so you can plan a more peaceful future. Are you in alignment with your truth? Are the thoughts you have about your self planting the seeds for a better life? 

Since Leo is the sign of the self, the best way to utilize this energy is to focus on ways to cultivate self love, compassion and any other attributes that will help you become a better individual to then be of service to others with a more expanded heart and encompassing radiant aura. Take this time in your meditation, yoga or any other practice that connects you, to truly merge into your higher self and connect to the divine within and Oneness. FERTILE NEW MOON

At this first new moon of the year in Capricorn, plant the seeds of your future and allow the universe to tend to it. Capricorn is the master builder of goals backed with solid practicality and determination needed to accomplish them. This earthy sign is here to help us ground our intents into the physical plane and provide the foundation for a fertile destiny. We can look forward to being guided with small action steps to achieve big goals.

In order to get the most out this abundant new moon, create a list from your heart of what you truly wish to be surrounded by in 2016. Imagine it is already yours as this is the magic that creates your reality and watch the seeds of your harvest spring up into the new year as your reality. Journaling, meditating and speaking to your guides and angels are all effective ways to connect to the universe and manifest your wishes and dreams.

This full moon will help us all connect to the divine feminine within to make radical shifts that are much needed to bring peace and light on the planet. SOUL PATH

If you are not living each day with excitement, energy and passion, then you are not living on your soul’s path. So many of us walk through life, feeling numb and desperate for a deeper connection, but aren't sure how to get it. As the saying goes “the two greatest days of your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out what your purpose is”, but if you don't know your purpose then it can be hard to find true happiness.

Soul paths are our prime purpose for being alive through finding the talent within that only we can offer to the world. It always involves going beyond ourselves and helping others in some way with our gifts. Each one of us was born with a divine calling that we offer to the world that is unique to us and until we connect to that life is not as meaningful.

To find your soul path drop from your head to your heart. Ask yourself what you really love and what is most important to you in life. Start by taking small steps towards that every day. Start where you are and give the time that you can even if it is an hour a week. It doesn’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to know everything and you will grow into your passion and become an expert at it with time. By doing what you love, you will be inspired and gain insights into what brings you the most joy. When you lead from your heart, you will be led on the path. 

FOLLOW ME TO THE PATH LESS TRAVELED

Winter Solstice is a powerful time of re-birth and transformation to recognize our shadow, heal our wounds, release the pains and blocks to truly connect to our destiny. There is a tendency for all of us to want to hurry from autumn to spring to avoid the long dark days and coldness that winter brings. Connecting to the cycles of the season and sitting through the darkness of winter is a much needed break for our souls to connect to the darkness within to then transform and heal it into strength and light. 

If we take this time to journey within we discover ourselves and begin to trust life knowing that there is an incredible force within us. Deep inside each and every one of us there exists a summer that never dies. We just have to dive within to access it. Tonight light a candle to symbolize bringing light in and tune in to your wants and wishes for yourself and the planet. Take a trip into that part of you that is your true nature past all the stories you have told yourself, where all your strengths are held past heart aches and your light shines bright beyond the dark veils. The path less traveled is the journey within where we will find at our core we are perfect, we have everything we need and we are enough. We don’t need to do anything or prove anything to be loved. We just need to be.
